Over the summer term, our students who were moving on to A level Fine Art this September were asked to produce a series of work based on the theme of Still Life and objects founds around their home. Here is some of the fantastic artwork that they produced, using whatever materials they had to hand.
Students in 9LG1 have made a great start to the new school year with these excellent tonal drawings.

Year 13 were asked to produce a large A1 tonal drawing related to their chosen area of focus, in which they explored a range of materials and techniques such as charcoal, coffee, tea, ink and pencil.
We have also photographed their wonderful mark-making experiments and visual diaries kept over the summer.

Year 7 have made a brilliant start in Art with these beautiful observational drawings of insects. Learning about tone and shade, students have sensitively drawn the bugs with care and precision. Great work 7X3; keep it up!
