Year 7 have been working on a new project based on the Mexican festival, Día de los Muertos (the Day of the Dead). The multi-day celebration focuses on gatherings of family and friends to pray for and remember loved ones who have died, and help support their spiritual journey.

During Term 3, our Year 7 students have been taking inspiration from the world around them to showcase their creativity. Here are some of the results from their hard work in Food.
Year 7 have created a wonderful installation in the art block corridor with their 3D bugs swarming the walls! Well done 7X2, 7Y1, and 7X4.

Year 7 have made a brilliant start in Art with these beautiful observational drawings of insects. Learning about tone and shade, students have sensitively drawn the bugs with care and precision. Great work 7X3; keep it up!
